The service
MiseEnJeu connects amateur hockey game organizers with referees and scorekeepers. MiseEnJeu is not the officials’ employer, the games’ organizer or a league: the arrangement for a game is made directly between the organizer and the selected officials.
The service is free. The pay shown in a request is paid by the organizer to the officials, in person, outside the app.
Ratings and content
Ratings must reflect a real experience and remain respectful. Not allowed: hateful, discriminatory or harassing remarks, threats, other people’s personal information, false information and advertising.
Any comment can be reported; a comment reported by several people is hidden pending a decision by the moderation team, which handles reports within 24 hours. You can also block a user. To report abuse: abus@miseenjeu.com.
You remain responsible for what you post. You grant us the right to display it in the service for as long as it is useful.
Suspension
We may hide content, restrict or close an account that breaches these terms, puts others at risk or abuses the service, after review and, except in an emergency, after notifying you.
An account opened by someone under 16 is closed and its information deleted as soon as we become aware of it (see the privacy policy, Minimum age).
Liability
We do our best to keep the service available and accurate, but cannot guarantee it at all times. MiseEnJeu does not control how games unfold, officials’ qualifications beyond what they declare, or payments between users. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.
Changes and governing law
We notify you in the app of any significant change; the version you accept is recorded with your consent. These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada.
